Bottle Pay has offered a non-custodial web wallet under the domain bottle.li

The Bottle Pay service had to cease operations at the beginning of 2020 due to new legal regulations.

The basic idea of Bottle Pay was to make payments via the social media channels Lightning.

To be able to use BottlePay, you had to register via one of your social media accounts.

At your first registration a profile was created and you got 1.000 Satoshi as a gift.

Every social media account of yours was therefore able to receive Lightning payments. In turn, Satoshi could send to each social media account from his own BottlePay balance.

If the recipient himself does not yet have a Bottle Pay account, he was invited by Bottle Pay.

So anyone with a Bottle Pay Account could also receive Lightning payments.
