Franck Muller Encrypto offers a luxury watch with Bitcoin

Bitcoin not in the wallet, but on the wrist. This is what the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Franck Muller offers with its Chronometer.

The watch with the name Encrypto is available together with a USB wallet on which the private data, i.e. the private key, for the crypto currency is stored. The public address on the original Bitcoin block chain is engraved as a QR code on the dial.

Customers can choose precious metals or diamonds for the crown and bezel. The crown can also be used to check the current value of the Bitcoin and the public address can be scanned from the dial.

Franck Muller worked with Regal Assets, a specialist in precious metals and crypto currencies, to sell the watches. In the case of shelf assets, the Bitcoin clock can currently also be purchased – and paid for with Bitcoin, costing between $10,000 and $60,000 depending on equipment. Only 500 pieces are built per model.
