Identity verification / KYC: For a pure trade in crypto currencies, name, email address, postal address and a telephone number are required. For deposits and withdrawals of Fiat (Euro) a check of identification with selfie, residential address (consumption bill max. 3 months old) and qualification is requested.

The first step is to make a deposit on your Kraken account. If you make a deposit from a European bank account, the deposit will be made using Fidor Bank SEPA.

Kraken, as the largest Bitcoin exchange in the Euro area, is a very good and reliable solution to buy Bitcoin or any other crypto currency. Due to the high trading volume there is a high liquidity on the stock exchange and the prices are therefore better than for example at Bitcoin.de

Unfortunately the platform is in English only. But you find your way around very quickly.
