Monte was an operator of Bitcoin ATMs at several locations in Germany.
For the hardware we work together with the company Orderbob.
Currently (as of February 2020) the monte Bitcoin ATMs cannot be used to buy and sell Bitcoin due to the legally unresolved situation in Germany.
To purchase Bitcoins from the monte Bitcoin ATM, you need a Bitcoin Wallet and a Bitcoin Wallet to which the purchased Bitcoins should be sent.
Then you have to register once. This requires a current photo ID and a mobile phone.
When purchasing Bitcoin, the mobile phone number must be provided after making the deposit. An SMS pin is sent to this number, which is then confirmed on screen.
For new customers an additional photo is taken and the identity card is photographed.
The daily limit is 10.000€ and a legitimation check is carried out by copy of the identity card and SMS
